DeepMarkit Management

Garrett Scott

Garrett Scott has over eightyears’ experience in the finance industry. He is currently employed with one ofCanada's largest auto dealerships as a finance manager demonstrating theability to navigate the capital markets. Previously, Mr. Scott was involvedwith multiple mineral properties and tech companies.

Alex Parken
Corporate Secretary

Alex practices securities and corporate law with DS Lawyers LLP with a practice that focuses primarily in the areas of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities regulatory compliance and corporate and commercial matters. He advises companies at all stages of the business cycle including issuers listed on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange, and the Canadian Securities Exchange. In addition, he is a director of several private companies.

Eric Entz
Director of Corporate Development

Eric is a business strategy professional with over a decade of experience in helping startup companies grow organically. He specializes in new market assessment and revenue differentiation strategies. Since 2020 he has focused on clean technologies and emerging environmental markets. Over that time, he has helped develop carbon credit acquisition and sales strategies for several public and private clients and has facilitated carbon credit transactions globally.

Ranjeet Sundher

Mr. Sundher has over 25 years experience in the capital markets. This includes positions as CEO, President, Founder and Director with public companies. Projects he has been involved in have raised over $100 million dollars. He has been successful in the resource, technology and battery space and guided asset sales, takeovers, mergers and acquisitions with numerous corporations.

Steve Vanry

Mr. Steve Vanry has 25 years of professional experience in senior management positions with public and private companies, providing expertise in capital markets, strategic planning, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, accounting and financial reporting. His breadth of experience spans various industries, including mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, high-technology and manufacturing. Mr. Vanry regularly consults for other listed companies in the role of Director and/or as a senior executive. Mr. Vanry holds the right to use the Chartered Finance Analyst (CFA) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designations and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Vancouver Society of Financial Analysts.

J. Garry Clark

Mr. J. Garry Clark graduated with an HBSc (Geology) from Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Mr. Clark is a Professional Geologist registered with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. After University he held various exploration Geological positions with Major and Junior explorers. In the late 1980's Mr. Clark began his consulting career. He continues to consult with projects across Canada and overseas. Mr. Clark serves on various committees and boards that support mineral explorers. Mr. Clark presently is a Director or advisor with four listed junior explorers operating in Canada and Internationally and is a member of various audit and compensation committees.

Paul McKenzie

Mr. Paul McKenzie is co-founder of NexOptic Technology Corp., a publicly traded artificial intelligence company, and was reinstated to its CEO position in 2019 where he successfully entered partnerships between his Company and NVIDIA, Qualcomm and ARM. Mr. McKenzie was also instrumental in taking Colorado based, ProStar Geo Corp public and sits on its Board of Directors and serves on its Audit and Compensation Committees. Prior to this, Mr. McKenzie was Founder, President and CEO of Elissa Resources Ltd. from August 2010 until 2016, prior thereto, Director and Public Relations Representative of International Enexco Limited since March, 2000 where he also served on its Audit Committee and its JV Partnership Committee with Cameco Corp . He has acted in the capacity as Director, President and/or CEO and CFO of several public companies and has been hands on in raising in excess of approximately USD $120,000,000 for his publicly traded companies. Mr. McKenzie's experiences with public companies spans more than 20 years and includes acquiring, selling, financing and developing projects and managing subsidiaries throughout North America, and Asia including overseeing transactions with companies whose market capitalizations have exceeded USD $300 billion.

Oscar Mendoza
Special Advisor, Mexico

Mr. Mendoza is a Graduate of The University of North Texas where he completed his undergraduate degree with Honors in Political Science and Finance. After five years of work experience in the United States, Mr. Mendoza obtained his MBA at the International University of Japan. He then went on to work for investment banks including Morgan Stanley and Frontier Securities, covering natural resources and energy sectors. Oscar actively led and successfully closed several financing transactions in equity capital markets with a focus on mining and resource companies and has facilitated and structured several custom tailored debt and investment banking transactions for mining companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, Toronto Stock Exchange and Australian Stock Exchange.

Mr. Mendoza is a frequent guest speaker on various panel discussions and conferences held in Beijing, Hong Kong and Ulaanbaatar, including such events as Power Asia and Mines & Money. He is also a recurrent editorial expert for several Mexican Local Newspapers and a Local Television Show where his area of expertise and advice are shared with large audiences. Oscar has also served as board member with various leading companies and has provided finance related lectures to graduate students at the Autonomous University of Coahuila in Northern Mexico.

Geoffrey Fielding
Special Advisor

Mr. Fielding was educated at the Sorbonne in Paris and has an LLB from the Faculty of Law at the London School of Economics. He was an equity partner at Grenfell & Colegrave, one of the oldest city of London Stockholding firms before the company was acquired by CIBC, Canada’s largest retail bank. As a London Director of CIBC’s Investment Division, Geoffrey founded up the overseas investment division in the Caribbean where he built up and managed funds of over US$ 1 billion in 3 years. In 2007, Geoffrey moved to Southeast Asia where he is now is currently President and CEO of All State Asset Management, a Chinese asset investment management company, as well as being the Chairman of Wealth Technology Limited.

Trevor Koverko
Co-Founder, MintCarbon.io

Trevor Koverko is prominent Web3 founder and NHL draft pick of the New York Rangers (2005). Trevor became an early leader in the blockchain community, funding first-generation blockchain projects like Ethereum, Block. One and Hive the first public blockchain company. In 2017, after predicting the mega-trend of financial securities migrating to the blockchain, Trevor founded Polymath a leading security token blockchain project and later on its layer 1 blockchain counterpart: Polymesh. Prior to Polymath, Trevor’s Oculus Rift-based project became one of the world's first VR exits. Trevor is also the founder of several now public Web3 companies: Tokens.com (COIN.NE), and Matador Technologies. Trevor graduated from Canada’s leading business school, Ivey, and was an NHL draft pick of the New York Rangers. In his spare time, Trevor enjoys jiu jitsu, chess, squash and is a proud sponsor of important charitable organizations like The Africa Inland Mission, Brynn Children Home of India and Capes For Kids

Mo Yang

Mo Yang (CPA CA) is a performance-oriented leader who has deep experience in the areas of currency trading, regulatory reporting, Blockchain/crypto business accounting, management reporting, technology implementation, capital raising and VC investment. Mo’s expertise has allowed him to advise companies such as Polymath and related companies in a CFO capacity on tax structuring, financial reporting and operations management. Mo’s experience includes building and growing tech companies with complex holdings, M&A, capital raising and complex cryptocurrency accounting and treasury management.

Mo is a graduate of the Master program of accounting at Concordia, speaks fluent English, French and Mandarin and is a Certified Professional Account

Derek McKenzie
Business Development

Derek is a creative and forward thinker and problem solver. He enjoys building strong teams and coming up with innovative solutions to support various ventures. Derek founded Charlotte Street Associates (CSA) in 2016. CSA supports immediately recognizable banks, insurers, asset managers and start-ups with product innovation.  Prior to starting his own business, Derek worked at Sun Life’s International Investment Centre consulting with global business units on product innovation, asset allocation (CAD$6B) and manager selection. The team’s global relationships exceeded CAD100B and encompassed more than 100 managers. Derek worked directly with Institutional Investors researching, analyzing and building a wide range of investment products while taking into account regulations. Derek is a CFA charterholder. He has a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a Honors Specialization in Finance and Administration from the University of Western Ontario where he was on the Dean’s List and the recipient of the CMA Canada Strategic Management Award.

Eddie Law

Eddie is a Dev Lead at RBC. He is currently working on the development of a next-gen business payments platform. Eddie spends his day coding up event driven microservices, improving engineering practices + continuous delivery, and being the glue between tech business and design.

Eddie’s had over 6 years building and shipping scalable products as a Software Engineer, with a focus on crafting delightful customer centric experiences. Before RBC, he led the front-end web development efforts at the social bartering platform Bunz. On top of revamping the front end React code base and build pipeline, he played a big role in the creation of the Bunz cryptocurrency and its integration into the system. Eddie also led the efforts to improve search and recommendation capabilities on the backend.

Perry Haldenby
Blockchain Tech Advisor

Perry is the Chief Technology Officer at Blimp Homes. Perry is responsible for overseeing the development and dissemination of Blimp’s technology for external customers, real estate agents, vendors, and other clients to democratize the home searching process and redistribute value back to users.

Upholding the agency and autonomy of consumers has been at the forefront of Perry’s past endeavors. Prior to joining Blimp, Perry was the CTO of Bunz, a social bartering platform that launched the #PayPeopleNotPlatforms initiative dedicated to rewarding users for their participation on the site. Alongside his CTO experiences, Perry has over a decade of expertise working in tech with companies like CGI and TD and even co-founded a Y Combinator backed hardware+software startup, Amulyte, that focused on empowering seniors.

Adrian Haldenby
Blockchain Data Advisor

Adrian is the Head of Data Science at Blimphomes where he leads the creation of novel experiences for consumers and real estate agents that combine crypto and AI powered models built using home, listing, geography and usage data.

Before that, Adrian led the Data Science team at GALE Partners, a creative media consultancy and Adage’s Data Agency of the Year, where he owned the consumer data product offering for Alchemy, GALE’s CDP. He worked with clients like BMW, Chipotle, Pella and NBA to model consumer demand, buying propensity and sentiment in order to provide precision targeting for media and CRM, generating millions of incremental leads and sales. Adrian was recognized for his work by Business Insider, named a Top 40 Rising Star Revolutionizing Advertising in 2020.

Muriel Schvartzman

By day, Muriel is currently Director of Product Design at Ampli powered by RBC Ventures. She helps enable Canadians to earn cash back on their everyday purchases while building loyalty and driving acquisition for brands. By night, she is a consultant helping startups ship digital products with a focus on human-centered design. She has over 8 years of experience working with diverse brands such as Borrowell, Walmart, Zebra Technologies, Allstate, BMO, David's Bridal, Mackenzie Investments, Hain Celestial, Path Factory, Brizi, and Halp.
